Jess Reimer

The Nightjar and The Garden, the latest record from Jess Reimer, was born in the dead of winter at a heatless warehouse in downtown Winnipeg. Produced by founding Blue Rodeo keyboardist Bob Wiseman, the album’s classic alt-country sound highlights Jess’ songwriting prowess, and ability to make songs like Patti Smith’s “People Have The Power” and Warren Zevon’s “Heartache Spoken Here” her own. The album also features several guest vocals from Ron Sexsmith and Jess’ band led by her multi-talented husband Jer Hamm.
